Securing your ladder is an integral part of your home
security and securing it to your garage wall is both
quick and easy.
What You Will Need
Hardened long link chain
One staple on plate
Wall hooks and wall fixings
Padlock and ladder
What to Do
A.
Decide where to store the ladder and fit suitable
wall hooks if appropriate.
B.
Screw the staple on plate to the wall (using
expansion anchors will make this even more secure).
Hang the ladder on the wall hooks.
C.
Pass the hardened chain through the staple,
round the ladder and secure it with a padlock.
Note: Do not suspend
the ladder with the chain and staple plate alone,
wall hooks and brackets must be used.
